Brian Dompé
Brian Dompé is a retired senior living in Edmonton. He lives with VCI following a couple of strokes, but continues to be active in the community volunteering with local not-for-profits, primarily those that assist underprivileged and seniors. Over the last few years he’s become more engaged in issues related to health research, principally those engaging people with lived experience as partners including organizations like AbSPORU, VAST, EPLED along with others. He contributes to multiple research projects, participates in peer review of grant applications, and delivers a number of health-related workshops. His work is driven by a strong commitment to improving patient-oriented research and supporting meaningful patient engagement in healthcare and research communities.
