Connor Larkey
M.Sc. in Experimental Medicine, University of British Columbia
Connor Larkey recently graduated with his Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Cellular, Anatomical, and Physiological Sciences from the University of British Columbia. He is currently pursuing his Master of Science in Experimental Medicine at UBC under the supervision of Dr. Ryan Hoiland. His ongoing research focuses on cerebrovascular physiology, neuroimaging, and the mechanisms that contribute to brain injury and neurodegeneration. He is particularly interested in using quantitative MRI to characterize patterns of acute brain injury and understand how these patterns relate to cerebral oxygenation and long-term cognitive outcomes. His work aims to develop imaging-based approaches for neurological outcome prediction and support more individualized approaches to patient care.
