My name is Linda Sky Grossman. Rather than tell you about the many teams I am on and have been on, I prefer to take this opportunity to tell you why I am interested in VAST and what I stand for.

My Husband, Dr. S. William Grossman, D.D.S. (we called him Mickey) was afflicted with Alzheimer’s Disease. During our journey with this disease, I made many serious mistakes that I recognized only after the fact. I vowed at the time, that I would do my best to help educate and assist as many individuals as I was able, concerning this disease. It is important that people comprehend the difficulties we faced regarding our lack of knowledge about dealing with some professionals, about LTC facilities, about a lack of significant government assistance and many more of these troubling situations. Therefore, it is my honour to be included in the VAST program so that I am able to support and provide others with the experiences that my Husband and I endured.
