PhD Student, Vulnerable Brain Laboratory, Western University

Sandra Zdrale recently graduated with her Master of Science from the University of Calgary. She is currently pursuing her PhD at Western University under the supervision of Dr. Shawn Whitehead in the Vulnerable Brain Laboratory. Her research focuses on translating circulating microglial extracellular vesicle signatures into a blood-based bioassay for assessing post-stroke cognitive risk.
